Just saw an ad on my local CL for some pullets that are 4-6 weeks old. $5.00 each. Never heard of them!

They have a reputation for loving to free range. They are very independent and just might roost in the trees if you let them. This is just what I have read. I really love them and there are some BYC'ers who have them, but I haven't ever had any.

I have a trio. They are nice little birds that lay a decent sized white egg. Not large, but not as small as the average bantam.

I have one little pullet (only 3 weeks old) she is quiet but friendly, and curious!! Doesn't seem flightly like other white egg layers.
