I don't have pullets but I do have hens that I just brought home that I'm waiting for them to start laying. I have 1 that is laying consistently and another that has been laying the last couple days although I don't know which one it is yet.

I have 5 red sex link hens. They were spring babies I believe.

I would love to join, but the oldest ones we have are almost 4 weeks so...a very long wait in store still for me! I'll keep tabs on the thread though and watch your progress.

Also...where is everyone getting all these new emoticons? I know Nifty was talking about adding new ones, but I don't see any in the list unless for some reason mine isn't updating. If you're getting them off-site...disregard the question. I like the one hanging from a tree limb.

This is my Silver Laced Wyandotte taken in October. She has the wrong type comb which unfortunately happens with hatchery birds.

This is my shy Buff Orpington in October. She is pale and not much going on in the way of comb or wattles. I will use the October pictures on my five girls as the starting point and I will post November pictures to compare the changes as they mature.

Below is Spike in November. I see a big difference in the size of her wattles and her body is looking more mature. She was hatched August 1

This is my Australorp taken in October she is much lighter in color.
Here is Matilda in November. There is too much light in this picture, but there is no real change in her comb and not much going on in wattles, but she is growning nicely.
