Yesterday was 5 days in a row where we were gifted an egg. Two of those five days, we had two eggs. Still awaiting the day when we have more than two eggs (we have four hens).

I got an egg each day except one for six days. I can't wait to get two eggs in one day! It has been raining since Monday. Ugh. I think today was Selma's first egg, Elli has laid at least two, and I have had a couple more. Not sure who laid them. The egg I got today was still warm.

As of today I have three hens laying. Yesterday one of my RIR, today my BCM. We got the first egg on 10/20 from a mystery layer, but it's lighter than the RIR or BCM, so I think it could be my Lavender Orp.

This week Monday 3 eggs Tuesday 4, Wednesday 2, Thursday 4, and today 4, not hitting 5 yet maybe tomorow, 0nly 4 laying out of 16 the other 12 are very slow or is it me being immpatient....

We had three eggs yesterday leaving one hen without an egg. My kids were really excited as was I!

I might have jinxed myself today. No eggs yet but then I also cleaned the coop this morning and used the cordless drill to install some brackets for more roosts. No egg pictures Instead here are some chicken pictures.

This wyandotte should start to lay soon I hope, she's been turning redder. What do you think?
