thanks..
I do not have hypo-ectodermal dysplasia, this is sorta new.. it started around the time my DD was born (2002) I was really sick during my pregnancy I was hospitalized because I could not hold anything down. When DD was 6 weeks old they removed my gall bladder because it went crazy during my pregnancy. after that I tried to get back into shape after having the baby and I would do a 60 - 90 min workout at the gym and I would either pass out or have a wicked migraine requiring medical attention afterward. GP sent me for all kinds of tests, thyroid, endocrine cancer, WBC and many many more. CT, MRI ect and nothing came back abnormal.
I have to be VERY careful in the summer. I always carry a bottle of water and a facecloth on me and if i feel over heated i will give myself a quick wipe down to cool my body A/C is my friend.
If I go for a walk, because the weather is cooler still I can go for 60 minutes and feel ok. I can feel my heart rate climb. If I try and do 30 min in the house on the tread mill I feel the overheating start and I will vomit and pass out.
I can swim laps in the pool as long as the water is not to hot. The cardiologist tried to do a stress test and I passed out cold on the lab tech and I was dangerously overheated but did not break a bead a sweat.
I have bad knees and I need to kick about 80 lbs, but not having the ability to sweat makes things hard.
In a few weeks my GP id going to start a round of tests where I have blood drawn every other day and they will be checking hormone levels. We are also working with an endocrinologist who has seen this before and seems to think its hormonal and because i was so sick with DD it threw everything out of wack they may have to force menopause on me early to make things right again but everyone is saying different things are the cause. (to many hands in the pot if you ask me)
