here is another old (long gone) friend sandman, hes riding on Ron's (my old long haul co-driver) shoulder, that rat saw more states in his short life than most people! great truckin pet!

Well we just joined you all today.

My daughter got a RAT as a pet. I can just see all the looks I will get from family when they find out.

She is a Pokemon nut so the fancy rat is named Celebi.
No pictures yet. We brought her home this evening and set up the cage. A medium 3 tiered cage. Although I really wanted to buy her a ferret cage, just they cost to much.

Check out Martins Cages, they are AWESOME cages, but make sure you get a coated one, not just galvanized due to urine building up and messing the cages up over time (any cage really that is not coated)

I love ratties....I've had 6 over the last 8 or 9 years, just lost my last one a couple of months ago. I've only had 2 boys, had them neutered, the others were girls. They are the best small pets around, sweet and smart and funny!!!! Will have some again but right now I have a Zoo already and not enough time.....

I kept rats for years. Great pets, very sweet and loving. Can't keep them anymore I have doxies and rats are something to be taken care of, if you know what I mean.
