any pet rat folks out there?

I love rats. I have 5 boys(pets) and one boy with three girls(breeders). They make great little pets and are so smart and friendly. When I was 12 I got my first rat named Snowflake and I will never ever forget him. After getting him I got two girls and let them 'play'. I ended up with 36 rats and kept 11. Over the years I have always had a rat or two at the least. My oldest rat right now is close to five years old, and he was bred by me.

iv have currently 3 rats and had 4 more rats. my first rat died then we got 2 for the late rats son, he hated them they turned out to not be two but a boy and a girl and getting two more rat a 2 more cages were not in the budget so, looked again found a girl girl set got a nice new cage. then my baby Flo died so Maggie needed a friend so finally we found a nice healthy young rat for Maggie to play with. peter, who is not going to live much longer because of Cancer enjoys there company as long as there not together no baby's and he a mean little critter to other rats... when peaches and Maggie die they will be the last, were looking into chinchillas because they don't die so quick. and it sad to have a friend for 1-3 yaer then have to let them go
