That's what I thought.The black one that doesn't have ruffled feathers looks most like a cockerel so far but any guesses now are just speculation. Best to wait a few more weeks.
You'll probably be able to tell as soon as us in here. I also wouldn't worry about the ruffled feathers on the other black bird. If there are no insects on it and it seems healthy then it probably was playing rough and rubbed them against something that caused the damage.That's what I thought.
Not sure, they seem to be different ages, the biggest one has to be over four weeks...Nothing is screaming cockerel at this point but, how old are they?
