Any Pro-tips on Trapping/Removing Raccoons

Howard E and I do. More people will be knowledgeable about the wire than the netting even here.

I have used for cattle, hogs and horses. It was expected our working / hunting dogs could defeat the wire. Chicken containment has not worked even when replicating what others find to work.

Link above describes the wire fence I use to keep my birds in and dogs (and other critters) out. When they are in that area, the only containment the birds have to keep them in is that four wire fence. They never cross it. It may be that my birds are RIR and Wyandottes, so maybe they are not inclined to stray. More flighty birds might.

I have seen dogs and cats hit that fence and leave in a hurry. I have, on occasion, seen coon tracks left inside the wire, but this hot fence area is only enclosed on three sides. A coon could get in through the chain link fence that makes up the fourth side.

But to date, I've not lost any birds to predators when they are confined within that fence. That is by day. They are protected at night inside a Woods house that nothing has been able to breach so far.

Thank you! That’s EXACTLY what I was looking for and am interested in. What type of charger do you use? Or do you have any recommendations
