Any reason I can't put conchord grape vines around the chicken run?

My parents used to have the wild turkeys roost on their grape arbor. My Mom swears that they would eat the late season grapes in the Fall and get tipsy. Maybe that is just turkeys.

Nasturtium isn't really a vine, but it has a climbing nature to it and I'm certain its not poisonous...just incase anyone else is looking into this too!
