Any RVers on here? Tips, Rigs, Where have you been?

Run-a-Muck I know what you mean about having an older camper. I had a 76 when I met my DH. He had a 1 year old camper. Then we sold those and upgraded!

With my old one I had indoor outdoor carpet, it could be swept and then every so often I would vacuum. DHs had all tile which was SO nice and easy to keep clean. We don't have small kids but as I said my SIL has 4. (she has had a baby since the bear trip!). Beings we have the big camper everyone congregates in ours.

Our camper now has a light beige carpet! I cover it with rugs but it still gets so dirty. Last year at the end of the season we had to have the carpet professionally cleaned! Now I just know I will be stressing about that darn carpet!

Sometimes I miss the "oldie but goodie" camper! Spill something, track in a little mud, no problem, no worries!!

It is amazing what a little paint and tile can do isn't it! I bet you made it look great!

I wish I would of taken before and after photos....but that's one of those shoulda, coulda woulda's that I constantly deal with...lol

but yes it not only made it look better but also brightened it up so much....1970's anything seems to always be shag carpet and dark brown panelling...lol so with the contact paper and peel and stick tiles it is so much brighter in there and the light actually shines when the windows are open..lol but now I see more dirt too...lol

I have a Lance 1010 truck camper. We spend two months in Florida last winter. We have been out west to South Dakota Custer National park with our horses. Went to Kentucky rode around the caves. We had some good times with our camper.
