Yeah, I know Darryl, my daughter just talked to just him a few weeks ago in Missouri at one of his shows, and my brother lives next door to his Mom in Nixon. I haven't seen him in years though. We all played alot together back in the day, all the local boys like Darryl, Mark Collie, Mac Macanally, Marty Stewart, Larry Cassabella, and others like Justin Tubb, Danny Shirley... Makes me wanta sing that one song "Everybody's makin' it big but me".

I just sing for fun though, never really cared about doing anything with it, I just enjoy singing and writing.

Our band did open a few shows for Vern Gosden back..... gosh, I guess it was in the late 80's maybe? I've met tons of folks, mostly country singers. It's a small world after all.

You're going to sing anyway, whether it's recorded or not.

You wife isn't going to be singing with you?

So to keep her happy, give her something to do. Hand her the
video recorder. A woman likes to feel important. Makes them happy.

You want your wife to be happy, don't you?

And then to make her feel really special, tell her you want to show
her awesoms skills with the camcorder to all your friends.

She'll really be impressed with you.

And at that point, we won't actually be watching you sing, so you'll be
happy.

We would be admiring your wifes skill.

Then we would all be pleased.
