Any Suggestions for Bedtime?

When ours went out to the coop we locked them in a few days before letting them in the run. They knew that was "home". We had two NH Reds that were being naughty so we isolated them in our "transitional chicken housing" (a Chick n Hutch in a tent like screen house) and when it got dark they were jumping up and down at the side where they could see the coop having little chicken panic attacks. They couldn't get "home" and didn't realize they were supposed to go into the hutch. Poor girls. I put them to bed every night for their short term of solitary confinement. They're happily back with the gang now and not being nearly so naughty!
