Have three two month old chicks and want to add three more new chicks. went a little overboard on my coop so i figure i can add some more. Do i just put them in there after they get all their feathers or do i have to worry about them not being accepted?

How old are your new birds? Day-old chicks? They will have a LOT of catching up to do in terms of growth before you mix your flock. You didn't mention if they are all pullets or if you have a gent in your bunch. Once you're ready to combine forces, take the three older birds out and let the younger ones settle in. After a few days, re-introduce your original birds. Are they all the same breed or at least all large fowl/all bantams?

have not got the new ones but will be 1-2 weeks old. they are all hens no roosters due to im an urban chicken farmer that is not really supposed to have chickens. have three different types of chickens but not sure the kinds.

I wait until they are feathered out.
