Any suggestions with breeds?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, if it is I will happily move it.

So me and my mom are planning on getting chickens for our new house, I haven't ever had chickens before but my mom has. My mom really wants a showgirl (I find them really cute as well and every place I checked said they were really nice) are there any breeds that interact well with a showgirl? We want three chickens in total (preferably ones that lay eggs regularly) What would you guys suggest for chickens that are friendly and like to be around people? Sorry I'm just new to this and I don't want to get two breeds who aren't compatible with each other or get a more aggressive breed of chicken. Thanks to anyone who has a suggestion.

Try Polish. They have topknots like Showgirls. And are gentle and closer in size to showgirls than a dual purpose hen.

Chickens without topknots sometimes tend to pull the topknot feathers out.
