Any suggestions would be WONDEFUL!

also on weekends, school holidays I imagine they will have heat / air conditioning turned off. The change in room temperature may be enough to throw off your incubator with it ending up hotter or too cool inside.

Different incubators have different techniques... I'd encourage you to find threads that cover succesful hatches in your brand of incubator and study those. From those threads look for temperture tips and humidity levels.

Expect the eggs to hatch early (up to two days) but don't be surprised if they don't. If you want the children to watch them hatch, you may want to have day 21 be a Wednesday, instead of a Monday.

Hope your eggs are delivered with minimal shaking and you have a very nice hatch rate!

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate all the feedback. As far as temperature in here, I won't have to worry, it does not change too often in the room. I have it starting soon so we won't over lap any holidays. Rarely bored- I agree. I think I am going to try and start on a wednesday so if they hatch a little early or a little late, we are here. If I need to get in here on a weekend day, I can probably arrange that. However, depending on when the eggs arrive, I'm just going to have to wait and see. I will definitely look for threads about my type of incubator, great idea. Thanks! I love the support and help I get from everyone on here. It definitely helps us who are new at this and excited to make it work!
