Hi! i have some questions i would like answers to but first you need to hear the story.. i have 3 hens. An americauna, miley,an aracauna, glenn, and a cochin, jenni. I used to have 5 and one roo ,but sadly, we had to give Henny, penny, and Sam (the roo) away. They were a little disappointed at first , but they learned to love the new life! I've had them at the house for 8 months now and they've been completely fine. Miley got her neck stuck in the fence and we put her at the neighbors coop for recovery. Jenni has never liked her , but she's always pecked her. Jenni recently started laying eggs again (she wasn't for quite a while) and just about a week ago she stopped. And she won't get out of their "laying egg box".
i have to physically take her out and set her on the ground. I cannot watch her all day (I have school) and I have a feeling she stays in there all day, but I have no proof. I did some research and thought maybe she has bugs. I started watching her more carefully and I saw some strange stuff. She is always fluffing herself up and fixing her feathers. And she flaps her wings and screams(which I've never seen before). I tried to search her feathers but all I got was a poop on my lap.. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong..?? If you have any suggestions PLEASE let me know.. I really love her and I want to find out what is wrong.
