Any swaps or shows in the western Pa or Eastern Ohio area?

I've never been to a poultry show before. We have a county fair in the summer, but I don't think that's going to be what I want. Anybody know of any shows in Western Pennsylvania or even Eastern Ohio?

The Uniontown Poultry Club will hold their spring show the third Sunday in April. They also hold a fall show the third Sunday in Oct. These shows are held at the Fayette County fairgrounds on Rt.119 between Connelsville & Uniontown,Pa. They also hold a swap & trade day the third Sunday of each month beginning in March.

A spring swap day is being planned for the fairgrounds in Washington,Pa. the first Sunday in May.

Marietta is an awesome show - Well run - good people and fun. great birds and a huge variety and It means that it is Spring - I am in Hubbard - Ohio/PA line -- sounds like you aern't far we also have Canfield in June at the Cnafield fair grounds ..

I'd LOVE to see something close to Parkersburg, West VA. Have you heard of anything? Hubby has nixed my hopes to visit the Troy swap.

I live about 5 mins from the Canfield Fair Grounds. I know that some of the chickens at the Fair are for sale at the end. I almost purchased one last year, but she looked so stressed at the end of the week, i just couldn't do it.

I've orderd 4 buckeyes and 13 broilers from Millstone Farm and Garden Center (on 46 towards columbiana) I would like to trade two of the the Buckeyes, one for an Araucana, or an Easter Egger, and the other for a Polish. If anyone nearby is intrested let me know.

My chicks will arrive aroung March 30th.
