Any thoughts on what could've killed her?

7 month old brahma started showing signs of illness on Saturday. Very lethargic, huddled in a corner with her tail hung low. She would still get up on the roost at night and her crop would have a little bit of food in it. She stayed the same for a couple days. I checked to see if she was egg bound, she wasn't.

She never laid and egg and was always very pale in the face, comb and wattles - even before she got sick. She passed away yesterday (Tuesday).

Does anyone know what could've happened?

I've attached a picture of her poop if that helps.

I would guess, and that's all the diagnosis possible over the internet, that she had a virulent bacterial infection, possibly Clostridium perfrigens or C. botulism, from eating a rotting or/and moldy thing she dug up from some deeply composting anaerobic material. Look around for such a spot and get rid of it.
