Any tips on what to do before the show at the fair?

Hello, my name is brent and i am in 4h.
the things that helped me last year were

1. get your bird really clean(give him/her) a bath with cat shampoo)

2. practice handling your bird for showmanship so it gets used to being held

3.have all the food and supplies you need for the week with you
