ANY TREKKIES OUT THERE????

*ANOTHER SPOILER ALERT*

I wondered why Nero waited 25 years. If he really wanted to destroy the federation, he could have gone to Romulus and given his people superior weaponry for the time and conquered the federation. He could also have warned them of the impending danger to their planet and given them plenty of time to prepare. Why wait 25 years for your revenge?

If you remember at the first of the show, Nero was looking for Spock...Old Spock. Perhaps it took him that long to find him? You'll have to excuse me if I'm wrong. I've only got to see it once.

Also..wegotchickens..your not weird wanting to go with a fellow trekkie. That's half of the fun having someone who makes all the right sounds in all the right places!!!

I understand that a certain portion of the Trekkie population is um, not meaning to offend but for lack of a better word, geeks...but do you really need to bring you whole flock of geek friends and then throw out terms and stardates so that everyone in the theater can hear you during the whole movie? I am a Trekkie to the core, but I dont think youre cool when you ruin the movie for me just trying to sound smarter than everyone else.....

um yeah and then sit right behind me too why dontcha...they got more than a few pointed looks from me, but they were twice my width (only half my height) so I didnt want to tango since MY phaser was in the glove box of the car!

Yeah, he was waiting for Spock's ship to come out the other side because he wanted to exact his revenge by forcing Spock to witness the destruction of Vulcan. And time was moving at different speeds for them. But why didn't Nero when he realized he was 129 years in the past simply got to Romulus and warn them of the impending supernova rather than spend all his time and effort on extracting revenge on an event that hadn't even happened yet? Seems like he could have saved his home planet that way... although you get into all the paradoxes of time travel stuff. I guess you just have to chalk that up to the fact that he was a deranged nut case.

I noticed Kirk's eyes too, and McCoy's. Nurse Chapel didnt make an appearance!

Yeah, I wasn't real interested in looking into Kirk's eyes... so I missed that one.

But nurse Chapel... where was she?

LOL I didnt care much to look into Kirk's eyes, but I am a detail person haha. I didnt even realize that Nurse Chapel didnt appear until this morning whilst doing my hair...yes, I do think about Star Trek while doing my hair....
