I finally got through the publishing hurdle (hallelujah) with my first novel only days ago. I feel like I've been drug down a rock road for the last few weeks. I read/re-read/re-read all "formatted" 600ppgs so many times, I feel as though I will regurgitate (as in hurl) the words if I look at it again and NOW is the time I have to learn to publicize it. The problem with that is that I'm a very reserved private person!

Yes, I know. I should have thought of that before I published it, right? I guess it's just stage fright.

Hello -

I'm new here but I hope to be a writer someday. I did write one story, and would love to have someone critique it.

It is long - like a short novel for teens or young adults - fantasy.

I'm sure it needs editing, but would anyone want to see it? I could either make a post on this forum with it, or send it in email.

I just want to know if it's any good or not, or if it is worth editing and cleaning up. (or if it just is crap and should be started over LOL )

(btw, yeah, I have chickens, too LOL - I originally came here looking for chicken info.)
