Anybody else have Diamond Doves?

Hey Rooster - have your doves raised babies yet. Mine have raised a several clutches. I saw them courting this morning while I was drinking coffee on the porch with DH.

Did you ever sell those grey peacocks?I am so sorry I couldn't get them last year.My hen hatched out 3 chicks this year.If you still have them,I would like to purchase them from you.I am back to work and things are going much better now.I know off topic,didn't mean to step on your thread.

Here's the 2 new doves hatched out on the 25th.The one on the right is a new color I haven't seen from my breeders.Must be a browwn gene in someone.

ive been looking to get some diamond doves, but no one in my area seems interested in parting with a pair or two even ( hoping theyd be great with my finches and budgie flock, but guessing they couldnt free fly like my budgies do? also my finches, and tiels i used to have, nested in any/everything).

i could never find decenty priced or healthy ones, but if i had, id probably have had them as pets, possibly instead of pigeons, if they were easier to tame and keep than ringneck doves maybe. originally before got back into pigeons, was going to have my aviary set up with button quail, diamond doves, zebra finches, and budgies. only ever found the budgies, finches, and tried ringneck doves, and cortnix quail. also oddly cockatiels worked out well in with them also, among others..
