Anybody else have to laugh about their first night out?

Versus now! That first night I thought about camping outside the coop and settled for opening all the windows and jumping out of bed every couple hours to check on them. Now...I've found I can hear the chickens - the roosters mostly - with all the windows closed, earplugs, and my head stuffed under a pillow!

Just put them out last night! As worried as I was, everybody did great. I have 10 5 week olds in the new coop and 2 two week olds in the brooder with the heat lamp! They grow so very fast

I know how you feel. We finished our coop 3 days ago and the girls have spent the last 2 nights in it. Mine are young but they have their heat lamp in there and the coop is huge so they have lots of space to play. They love it.
