Today is the day I have 4 out so far and at least 2 more have pips

I was due the 6th as well I had 11 eggs only 3 hatched when I checked last night hopefully the rest will be under my broody when I come home from work. I am a little concerned though b/c last night the hen came out of her nest w/ the 3 chicks and I'm not sure just how long the other eggs were left without her heat. I put her back in the nest with the chicks and she was still in the nest this morning. I figured I would check on the rest of the eggs when I get back. Hopefully no damage was done I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The weather has been around 85 outside so there is still a good chance I think that the rest may hatch. I'll keep you guys posted.

Ive been hatching since last night, when I went to bed at 1am...I had to keep checking on them!!!

I had one with just the leg out...got up at 8am, and its moving around!!!! have 5 more going...

I org. Have 32 eggs in the bator...only one so far comp. out...and 5 cracked and rocking....of course it all just started yesterday at 530pm...did lose one RIR, was seeping, I cracked it black dirty smelly water in it...YUCK!!!

I now have 17 out of 19 eggs hatched. One more is zipping and the last egg I didn't think was good when I candled at day 10, but I wasn't sure, so I put it back in. I have so many chickies, I can't see one of the themometers. I had a hugh scare earlier today. The hudimity went up due to chicks hatching and all of a sudden by digital themometer spiked to 158. I did a double take and said " SAY WHAT!" It think it just went kaput. I looked at my other themometer and said Thank God. The reading was dead on. Anyone have that happen with a digital. It's suppose to be a good one. Man this takes along time. I have been up half the night for the last 3 nights. I am so tired and so excited!

yes it does take a long time, I didnt know it did!!!! I thought, oh it will peck, and then shell will fall off and then a baby...nope...still only have one since 530pm yesterday and now have 6 I guess you call it zippping?...shell is cracking and breaking off....and Im still waiting...its now 1245pm the next day!!! but there not due til tomm...so Im doing ok, I guess...my very first time....

My babies are due today and I haven't heard or seen anything yet. Nothing, not a peep or a crack or a movement. Is that normal?
I would be so happy for any little sign of life

Today, (Aug 6) is day 18 for me. I hear chirps. NOW, I have one tiny pip. WOOHOO....

I have 4 that are truly looking viable now, out of 10 in the hatcher, with 2 other batches in the incubator looking to get moved tomorrow.

The BCM that are viable are rocking and cheeping, with one good zip going on...don't see other pips and am dying to see that they are still going...I hate this.

I'm not good in suspense filled situations- I'm a bull-by-the-horns kind of girl!!!

I probably ought to go to the store and come back later....
