This was a test hatch for my new incubator, and the eggs I got were from a very nice guy that answered my ad on Kijiji- he has a mixed flock, but did not have enough to make a dozen, so the ones that were in the fridge went into the box too, and we marked them cold so we would know which ones were refrigerated. I hear peeping from that one.... fingers crossed...

I have heard of people hatching eggs that have been in the fridg.

Morning all! I now have 12 pipped but none that have hatched!!!

I want to know how you guys get such great pictures>?? They are so cute, I want a baby!! Mine has windows on top but it just makes a glare.

My humidity was at 68% last nigth and has dropped to 61% this morning. What does the humidty do during hatch, does it fluctuate like that?

the humidity needs to be higher so that the eggs and membranes don't dry out during the hatch. i think it should be fine though.
