Anybody else started on their gardens this year.

I still have some onions and cabbage lingering to maturity from a late fall planting, but started some seeds a couple weeks ago for tomatoes, cucumbers, and a few herbs. Just got some of the others I was wanting to put in today...carrots, kale, more tomatoes, bell peppers and some flowers. Hope to plant outdoors tomorrow.

It finally dried out enough here to get peas and spinach planted!!!!!!!! Had rain yesterday and now they are calling for a few days of sun and temps in the 50's - 60's. I can almost hear the seeds sprouting.

I have mine started though there is still a whole lot of work left to do on it. I have Peas, Lettuce, Broccoli and some onions in the ground. Don't know if those onions will make it but I have more started in the house. I have Okra, sunflowers, two different kinds of cucumbers, lettuce, Broccoli, all started in the house too. And I am working on sprouting Tomato seeds, Blue lake beans, Corn and Pepper seeds. Also cut the potatos yesterday and letting them dry for a couple of days now before they go into the ground. And yet still so much to do.

Purchasing a greenhouse tommorow, should have some things planted by the first of the week in there. Always wanted one, so, making the plunge.

I'm in NW FL and I have Swiss chRd, 45 day mini cabbage, onions, garlic and peas growing in my raised bed garden. Today I planted potatoes and corn in some tubs. I have 3 types of tomatoes, okra, and two kinds of beans growing in pots from seeds.

I also have citrus trees (tangerines, satsumas, lemons, and limes), blueberry bushes, etc. I am putting in. I moved into this house this past August.

I'm in northern OK and have been pushing my gardening season early for the last two years with the help of a temporary greenhouse made with pvc hoops and plastic sheeting. I have lettuce 6" high, radishes, carrots, spinach, broccoli rabe, cabbages that are ready to harvest, celery that seeded itself from last year and has grown all winter, peas, potatoes ready to be hilled, beets, and some early cold tolerant tomatoes in the groung. In pots I have 14 varieties of tomatoes, various types of winter squash, parsley, basil, cucumbers, and several types of melons. We also have strawberries, apple trees, a cherry tree, blackcurrants, and blueberries. We plant mainly in raised beds but this year have two experiments going with strawberries planted in a hanging gutter garden and we're starting straw bales to plant squash and okra in.

Ordered our seeds last week. We are waiting on them Heirlooms! Rareseeds.com is where we got ours. I can't believe it's growing season in the south. So disappointing! We are having a warm day today so I'm thinking about sticking my asparagus out. I'm worried it will die out though. The drama of West Virginia's highlands... late April snows happen.

We are starting our seeds when they get here though, which is exciting. Anyone else into heirlooms?
