A&D Ointment used just like the neosporin or bag balm for me works fantastic. Hands and feet. The Walmart brand at a dollar something a tube works as good as the name brand. Good luck with whatever you use. Dry, cracked heels are the worst

I rub a beeswax lotion bar over my feet at night, then put on socks. It helps more than lotion when there is a very sore crack in my hoof.

You need something thick and waxy to seal up the crack, IMO.

Bag balm is good for sealing them up, so is Desitin.

ETA: socks and crocs, baby. I have to wear socks and crocs all summer. Looks ridonkulous, feels great.

Wow everbody, I guess I'm gonna be buyin Bag Balm, LOL. Even my husband said, "Oh Yeah, Bag balm, I forgot about that stuff, it's amazing". Gee thanks hunny, LOL.

Oh, and I should mention, it gets to an average of 104 here in the summer, there is no way I can make myself wear Socks and Shoes all summer, or even once a week for that matter, LOL. So I guess I'm gonna have to suck it up and wear socks to bed

My IL's use Crisco on their feet at night and before they put their socks and shoes on each day. lol but it works...

Shea butter works great. The cold pressed fresh off the boat stuff...not the highly processed deodorized stuff you get at the store.
