Anybody have ducks that naturally pair up?

I have all females, and my runners who were raised together paired up. They often chase my two 5 week old pekin and snowy mallard, who have also paired up.

i have 4 pekins, 3 boys and one girl. the biggest boy, Chubby, is paired up with the girl, slushie, and makes sure the other boys know that! if they get too close, he picks them up and moves them and will bite them and chase them away. when they get scared, they all swarm around slushie and try to push her away from danger, this is the only time Chubby will let them be near her. slushie follows chubby where ever he goes! they are quite cute together i must say.

How does Chubby pick up the other ducks?

Do you have pictures of this? Just wondering.

My Kaki's paired up. I have 1 male that's odd duck out. He's not even allowed to look or get to close to the hen.

they are quite a bit smaller than him, so he grabs the feathers aorund their neck or on their chest, and just picks them up and moves them. it happens so fast its hard to get pictures of. it normally happens when i bring the pool out and the other ducks try to mate with his girl slushie. he doesn't like that.
it doesn't really seem to hurt them and he never pulls out any feathers, for being so violent he seems to be gentle about it.
