back to the silkies .. i had 14 eggs (not 15) ... 12 hatchched fine (the cracked-glued shell chick had no problem

y, the 13th guy, i spent 1/2 the day helping him every 1/2 hour or so -- i think he's gonna make it : opened egg 14 -- looked liked it died a week or so ago... sucks, but it comes with the territory ...

bc, i ordered 48, but it was broken into 3 shipments, had 9 hatch from the 1st batch (with 6 of mine

), had my buff hen hatched out cj's next 7 (woulve been 8, but he never pipped), and the 13 that just hatched --- total -29 out of 48 ordered .. my first shipment of 30 egs in may, i had 23 hatch ... pretty good odds on shipped eggs --- i should note that as good as the eggs are packed, somewhere in PO :evil: land, somebody's always a little too rough on my eggs ... it's the exception when i get them all intact with good air sacs ... got one sg in the 9 hatch

I can't contain my excitement. I don't lock mine down until Friday the 14th. If you can post pictures and how many you ended up with I would be thrilled as I am sure many others would be as well!
