Anybody Ordered Ameraucanas from John Blehm in Michigan?

My chicks were born on my birthday (end of March) and sent out. John ships express mail, which is a bit more expensive but completely worth it! His communication is excellent. The birds arrived healthy, and I even got a few extra.

And I completely agree with Illia...the name chickhatchery.com is very misleading.

my mother in law wanted some better Chanteclers...and thanks to John, I think I've found them! And I'm just posting this to say, I saw his recent order schedule. It is almost completely full for 2011! And here it's only almost Christmas! So that alone tells me I made a wise choice! I also am getting some Lavender Ameracaunas in the order as I'd like some blue eggs in my egg basket. It's good to hear so many good things from past customers! Thanks for sharing everyone! I am really looking forward to this spring!

If you want nice buff ameraucanas I would recommend Jean from Pips and Peeps. She has some super nice buffs that she shows, and I've seen the stock she was going to choose breeders from for next year. Really NICE dark DARK buffs. I normally don't like buffs, but these are just gorgeous.

For John Blehm, try 'Fowl Stuff', also check the Ameraucana breed website. He has lovely birds, and you need to order early, because he sells out every spring.
