Anybody setting eggs this weekend? (4-25-15)

Candled tonight. 30 eggs set. 2 with blood ring and 3 clear. 25 have moving embryos!

I have a pipped goose egg but unless they can stay pipped for two days I don't for seeing it actually hatching.

I dont know ive never successfully hatched geese with an incubator but had a silkie hatch out 5 last year like it was nothing

It never absorbed the yolk sac so it wont hatch the rest died before getting to hatching. So im done trying to hatch goose eggs im wasting time trying.

So today I went into lockdown!! All 3 eggs had moving babies in them this morning! I really hope they hatch!! Wish me luck!! I also ordered some more eggs for next week! Anyone planning on setting again after this batch?

More eggs? Yup, 2 more incubators to go yet. Each a week apart with about 40 eggs in each one.

Yes, I can see the first little beak breaking the eggshell, it is day 17 of the quail hatch. And I wanted to go to bed early!

And yes, RubyNala97, after this round I'll be hatching the duckeggs of the neighbour. And this weekend one broody hen will have her chicks, if everything goes well.

We're getting so close!!! This is worse than being a kid at Christmas!

So I have a question... I was thinking that my hatch would potentially start on Friday afternoon since I set the eggs on a Friday afternoon, but I think I just read that you don't start counting until after the first 24 hours? Maybe I didn't read it right, but should I not expect anything until Saturday afternoon?
