finally got pictures doing it this way my broody that hatched 3 chicks today 2 shown here.

wow, i helped the last chick hatch today the egg was cracked like yours and i could hear peeping. so i carefully peeled the shell off and stuck the chick back under the broody. i went back to the coop to check 15 minutes ago and the chick is fully hatched and healthy. and momma hen is in full protect mode of her chicks i wore gloves she wanted to eat my hand.
