I really just meant that my turkeys are dumber than my chickens. I know they have different instincts because they are different. But I really just meant that they aren’t the brightest animals.

One of my turkeys got stung in the mouth by a bee and my chickens are generally careful around bees.

I think I’m thinking about how young turkeys aren’t very bright. My mom’s turkey drowned in a very small amount of water and all he had to do was stand up. But he didn’t. I think it’s actually that you have to be careful with young turkeys. And I know drowning has nothing to do with intelligence and that chickens can do it too. I still think chickens are smarter (it may be the exact opposite) but that’s just what I think.
