Anyone actually like/love their job anymore?

Still Love teaching headstart, but as for the cake baking, sometimes it gets to me... Everyone needs a cake on the weekends and that leaves me with little or no time off. This morning, a customer called in a frantic needing a cake for TOMORROW. I talked to her on Tuesday and she was supposed to call me back "within the hour" with the flavors, design, etc but hadn't until today!! I thought that cake was done and over and I was planning to go away for the weekend.....YEAH RIGHT. Baking is fun, but it's things like this that make me not want to work anymore...

I work in the home too, and I love it! It's one of the hardest jobs I've ever had, but I enjoy it the most of ANY I've ever had, paper paycheck or not!!!

my job. It so rewarding & lets me get my veterinary streak out.

For the most part, I love what I do. But, I work for DH so my hours and stuff are very laid back. When I actually work, I do like my little routine. Plug in the earphones, i-pod cranking to drown out the thud thud thud, and Im good to go.

I love my job for the most part - administrative specialist in our county engineer's drainage department. I mostly get to draw maps for ditches/creeks/tiles and readjust the drainage watersheds according to the elevations/contours. I set spreadsheets to determine the charges to landowners. Lol, in this economy, some people do not like me if the charges are high, but I only spread out the costs the engineer has decided necessary for each project. I've been doing this for 11 years and it never gets boring. I get to work with a lot of farmers and talk to a lot of interesting people. Of course you always have some who are not very bright, but oh well, that's part of the deal! It pays me an ok salary with great benefits and of course the "government holidays"! I went to college for ag business and it took me many years before I got this job. I had to go through a lot of low paying detestable jobs but it makes it even sweeter now! I plan on staying in this job until I retire in 12 or 15 years. It is close enough to my house (three miles of country roads) that I can even come home on my hour lunch and check on the animals, gather eggs and let the chickies all out to roam until I come home later in the day!

I LOVE my job! I work at a dog grooming salon and I love it! Sure, we get our share of cranky dogs and their owners but I just love it! Only 3 of us there, the owner, her daughter and myself. No drama and just about every day is a good day!
