Since I am so new to raising chickens, I am don't have as much knowledge at all with different breeds but hope that I will learn quickley. If I had a rooster, I would name him Mister, after the character in The Color Purple, that is, if it suited him.

Yeah I am wondering that too. It is hard to tell in that pic. Does he have a crest, what color legs, what type of comb? That would be a great help. Just from this pic he does look like a cross ( X....
