I LUV MPC!!!!!!!! Ordered 6 silkies (sexed) and the splash silkies have HUGE crests!!! Better than you average hatchery silkie anyways

Dont waste all your money on sexed silkies though because I ordered 1 roo and 5 hens. I got 3 roos and 3 hens(as of now). All of mine were bearded too.

They have a pretty good reputation on the boards. I have ordered from them once last year and was pleased enough that I ordered again this year (in large part because they had some hard to find things I wanted). Overall, I had a relatively minor issue with them, but would order again. I know Meyer supplies their chicks, so ordering through them might be an option to if not direct through MPC. I think the price is about the same either way and Meyer, unfortunately, does not do online ordering.

I really like my MPC chicks! I think a few might have been sexed incorrectly (not bantams), but they are all healthy and happy and big - and I have another order with them coming up in July so maybe if I can pin down the gender I'll get em to throw in the replacements on that order. The shipping for less than 25 is pricey, but they don't send packing peanuts and that pricey shipping gets them to me the next day after hatch!

Got my girls from MPC last fall. They're now happy, healthy, and lovely hens laying eggs like crazy for me!

LOVE MPC!! I use them ALOT... four times this year alone!

Whenever I want a breed I won't be breeding... even just a couple for pets... I always go to MPC first. The friendliest people ever and very healthy chicks! The only ones ever died on me were silver sebrights, but they are fragile from anywhere. So tiny!

We also got our chicks from MPC! That was a year ago, and they are happy, healthy hens now!!! We did order easter eggers from Meyer, though, because we live so far from a major city and only wanted three. Meyer lets you do that. We also ordered hatching eggs from MPC, and they are shipped from a farm in Arkansas. We had a great hatch, and have more on the way as we speak. The people at MPC are sooo friendly, and willing to help in anyway they can!!

I think you'll be pleased! I got my first order from them in April - 3 silkies and 6 full sized birds - all girls (hopefully!

) They are GOOD LOOKING for hatchery birds, IMHO.
Healthy from the get-go. Shipped monday, received tuesday. I would recommend them in a second!

I have 12 chickens from MPC, and I am totally satisfied with them. They are all healthy and happy. We did lose one of our bantam EE, and they were so helpful with things to try to make it pull through and when he didn't they were quick to respond with a credit or refund.

I LOVE MPC!!! I would highly recommend them.
