Anyone convert a cabinet or tv stand?

Most solid wood cabinets will have a wood finish on them, and sealer doesn't go on well over another sealer...

it would be a VERY easy and quick coop, but it would have to be done right in order to stand the elements, as most these cabinets/tv stands are made with particle wood that just turns to crap once it gets wet

steps:

SAND IT ALL DOWN
Paint with water sealant paint
cut holes in walls for vent.
fill with hardware cloth
pretty much it
