I still have turkey eggs in the bator, some due the 10th and some due every few days clear till the 1st of September. .... I had a broody turkey so the eggs were already pre-warmed and I couldn't resist putting them in to hatch, I do have a separate bator I use for hatching so not a huge deal there.
Oh and I just received an assortment of eggs off ebay and I am expecting some buckeyes soon!

Maybe plan C too, just incase! ;)
No still nothing - going to look on my old phone to see if I ever texted or called him and try that and if not I'll need to go to plan B! I dont' have a plan B but I'll find one!
. Good luck!!!! Keets are so cute.
I’m currently hatching a few eggs a week, hoping to build my guinea flock a bit.
Oh my goodness! That is the way to live, always having freshly hatched poults or chicks.

expecting some buckeyes

I can never find them! I was going to hatch a few for my stepfather, but he became ill. Out of 14 eggs in the incubator, I got down to 10 at lockdown, and gave the broody 2 since several of her 9 eggs went bad. Mistake. They died in the shell, probably because of the heat. The broody hatched 5, so I got 13 chicks from 22 shipped eggs. That is probably because of the high temps that we are not used to here, at least for the broody.

I moved her into the broody coop, and she wasn't happy, so made her way into the big coop and settled into a large nesting box, and this morning she only had 4 babies. I'm hoping one was up under her wing, which happens a lot. She can hide those babies really well. So I ended up with 3 Welsummer, 2 easter eggers, and 8 light brahmas. The broody has two brahmas we call chubby baby, and light chubby baby, since they are a total round ball of fluff with beaks and feet. Too adorable for words! I now have a total of 32 (or 31) chicks from 4 weeks to less than a week. Amazing!
