I recalculated, and yesterday was lockdown. Not a big deal since I placed them in the bator at 9pm. I'm so glad because it's been in the mid 90s here and the poor broody is so hot. Her eggs are from the same batch.

God speed.I recalculated, and yesterday was lockdown. Not a big deal since I placed them in the bator at 9pm. I'm so glad because it's been in the mid 90s here and the poor broody is so hot. Her eggs are from the same batch.
Omg! That roo is a keeper!Inna and her chicks are doing really well. we let them out this evening and the chicks caught some of their first bugs..well placed by Santa Clause if you get my drift. The cool thing is Ceelo their acting dad is a proud papa. He went to one of the bugs and called as he would normally do for his hens and a chick took it from him. it was a moment of "Oh crap" followed by "Wow did you just see that". He has accepted them. He just walked off as he normally does as if his job was done. He is almost 10 lbs, his foot is bigger then these chicks..![]()
He is a keeper..Bless him, he just don't have any babies to give us of his own. We are good however. He is good to his hens,my wife and his adopted babies. Couldn't ask for more.Omg! That roo is a keeper!
That's what its all about. congrats!
