Anyone doing a later year hatch that wants to share stories,experiences and pics?

so out of the eggs that my crazy broodies were sitting on I managed to rescue 9, every time I turned around another crazy bird was doing something funny like playing musical nest or loosing chicks or turning their nest upside down inside a crate and getting the eggs covered in ?????? so I feel that 9 live chicks(1 Nn) is a success! I will have to get some pics soon

I started with 12 and they all made it to lockdown. I was expecting way more to hatch.

The darn bantam eggs have internally pipped. I'm not sure if it's good or bad? None of the full size eggs have and it's only Day 18, I'm thinking the bantams may hatch tomorrow sometime.

Darn it! Well, maybe it will work out! At least you have pips!

Some of the bantams have external pips!!! Hopefully they'll hatch and dry off early enough I can get them out before the full size eggs pip externally.

Day 10 here. On Day 7 I had 2 moving around, 2 that were showing potential blood rings, 1 removed due to blood ring, the rest looked like duds or too dark to tell. So my question is: do I candle tonight to weed out any duds, or wait until Day 14?
