I have 12 salmon favs due on the 7th, 12 BBS Orps due on the 7th, and 10 Buff Orps due on the 8th.
Good luck to everyone hatching!!! Those last days are definitely the hardest... but candling the first time is exciting too and that's happening soon for most of us...

I'm bringing 6 Silver laced Wyandotte & 6 RIR both bred with my (Buff Cochin) eggs to room temp tonight and will put them in my Bater tomorrow. I guess that puts me on schedule for a 2/13 hatch date

I'm curious what a RIR with feathered feet is going to look like

Hello, I am new here too and just set eggs last Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday so mine should be in that time frame.
This is my second hatch, my first hatch I lost due to a thermostat problem but I have a new thermostat and have spent the last two weeks calibrating the thing so I hope it will all work out.
The reason I set for three days is that I ordered mine and one batch arrived early and then I got carried away and ordered another batch after the others.
I am working on a home made bator right now, all I need is to wire the fan and then I will see how it works. If it works well then I may use it as a hatcher so I can move the earlier eggs out and into the new bator to hatch.
I am so excited to know how everyone does. What kinds of bators are you all using?
