I have my first ever chick!!!

It just popped out a few minutes ago and it is already running around. It is a silver penciled wyandotte. Too cute. Here is the pic!

I now have 2 chickys one was born today like 15 minutes ago , and another hatching

Congrats to you too!! I got my second one about an hour ago. Same breed with one more of that breed to go.
I have two pips on mixed bantam eggs so they may hatch today.
Here is a new pic. It is kind of blurry because chicky #1 was bouncing around in there.

heehee, not quick enough for me! One last night and one this morning. I do have the two new pips though. They are actually early. The Wyandottes weren't due until tonight, one still hasn't pipped and the bantams weren't due until Thursday but I guess bantams hatch earlier than large breeds. I also have a brahma due then and a salmon favorolle due on Friday.
