I have 1 little EE chick that is super, super friendly and always wants to be held. My luck it will be a roo! LOL Not sure I am going to keep any if they are and can't wait until they are old enough to tell the difference.

I can have them where I live, just don't know if I want any roosters or not.

Roosters arent so bad did not have for the longest time then decided to dive in/and quickly remembered they crow whenever they want now i hardly know they are crowing.I already sold 6 of my chicks they leave monday i am keeping the other 4. and unfortunately the lady is bringing me some EE,s to hatch thought i was going to be done guess not.

It's really not the crowing that will bother me. We have a neighbor that has a rooster and it doesn't bother me. Just don't want babies, so I figure without roosters that will eliminate that issue.

Still have time to worry about that though. Just want a few for pets and a few eggs for us.

That's great you sold some of your babies. I don't think I will hatch again for a very, very long time. This was my first experience and honestly it was a stressful and emotional one with the little guy having to be culled (I am a big softy and I cried over the little chick...silly to some people but I am just that way with any living creature really) and then the really friendly EE...I had to help him out pretty much all the way and it bled a lot. It pipped at the wrong end and was all curled up. Poor little thing.

We plan to get a couple ducks after we get these little fuzzy butts out to their coop. Don't want to do too much at one time.

Have fun hatching for the lady coming to bring the eggs.
