Anyone dye their eyelashes?

Sorry, we call people of a like-look "emos" somewhat of a profiling thing.

It's the people that walk around with eyeliner painted on, wearing only black, with chains and such. They generally talk about the world as an awful thing and can't wait for their lives to be over. The clothes vary, but the eyeliner is always a staple.

I have never had it done, nor have I worked in a salon that offers that service. All I can say is please, please, please have it done by a professional. Ask the salon what kind of training the person had to do for it. I know there are kits out there to do it yourself, but serious eye conditions can occur, like going blind, if not done correctly.

never heard of dying eye lashes. my mom is in the hair bizz and never once have i heard of that

I trained as a beauty therapist and eyelash dying was something we did all the time. If all you want is to darken the lashes then it will work fine for you, but it will not take the place of mascara ie it doens't plump or lengthen the lashes in any way. As others have said it is a temporary thing so I would say go ahead and get it done to try it out and see if it works for you.

It washes off in about a week. It does not stay on long at all...

Thanks for all the info! I certainly would not try it myself as I remember reading a long time ago that even having it done professionally was risky. Weekly is probably too high maintenance for me bit I think I'll try it once just to see how I like it.
