Anyone else breed/raise rabbits here?

My doe made a beautiful nest and pulled fur and everything... but hasn’t kindled......... She usually has them the day of and yesterday was the day of. I thought I felt a baby in her when I palpated her but I know that’s not all that reliable. She’s never had a false pregnancy and has only had two litters and doesn’t seem to be the rabbit that would yearn to have a litter. Any ideas on what happened??

I would give her more time, she might have them a little later than you think. Or she wants to wait until no one's watching or after dark? I would wait until day 35 before calling it a false pregnancy.

Could it be because of weather? It’s been BAD. There are houses that have been wrecked from tornadoes just a couple miles from me. It’s put everyone on edge. I couldn’t sleep last night because my quail was quaking in fear and my Lionhead babies were about to go into shock and my dog can’t handle tornado sirens. Could the stress from that be doing anything? It’s been thundering so hard it’s shaking the house (which they are in)

It could be from the stress. That would stress me out. I hope the weather calms down and she has the kits safely. I think there are rare instances of a doe having kits at 40 days.
