Anyone else eat too much?

It's not that we're greedy it's just that it's a tradition to stuff yourself on Thanksgiving Day...we are only doing our patriotic duty!

I can't wait for Christmas Day.....yup going to really be greedy am I...... of course I too shall be doing my patriotic duty on the turkey.........

You guys are so funny! I too am stuffed from a cheeseburger and tasting everything I made today. Our dinner is Saturday, but with the applesauce, pies, cookies and fudge, I too am stuffed.

Be careful Debi... it's good the English Chick is offline.

Over there, "stuffed" means PREGNANT!

I didn't want to overeat, but I didn't want to hurt Hope's feeling after she worked so hard to prepare a wonderful dinner. So I was forced to make the sacrifice.

I won't have to eat untll late tomorrow!! I really didn't eat much at dinner, but since I was the "cook" I got filled up by tasting to make sure everything was ok. I wasn't even hungry when it was fininshed cooking. And now I am still feeling quite stuffed, and I ate 5 hours ago!!

Tonight I am feeling quite pleased with myself, I didn't allow myself to fall into the tradtitional "food stupor" after dinner. I drank a cup of coffee instead. Then cleaned up all the food and put it away, did the dishes, deboned the turkey and packaged up the meat for later meals. Put the bones and skin in a big pot to boil down for soup stock. Am I good or what!!??

Of course, if I didn't do it... I would have watied for me. But, I couldn't imagine letting all that mess stay in the kitchen!! Hard to imagine dinner for two makes as much mess as if we had the whold family here!!
