Anyone Else Feed Live Crawfish/Crawdads?

Yummmmm! Lucky chickens! I love crawdads but now live in the desert so don't get any anymore. Good protein source for the chickens.

I live in Arizona, and I raise crawfish in my pond to feed to my chickens. Sort of a recycling program: the crawfish get the scraps from butchering my chickens, an the chickens get the crawfish! I cook then eliminate any chance of my chickens getting any parasites.
