Anyone else get their MPC special? **Pics and updates**

Keep the pictures and stories coming. LOVE to hear about everyone elses.

I got my first goats coming on 4 wks ago, and they take a lot of my time I would have been spending with my chickens.

When I left for work this morning, Honey, the doeling was STANDING ON THE BARBECUE I had placed in front of the window to stop them from jumping up with their hooves trying to look in. Those kids are sure smart and persistent.

I'll work on getting pics this weekend.

Playing the "goat card", eh? I guess we'll let you get by with that this time.

HOUSTON, WE HAVE CROWING! I can't believe it, but just short of 8 weeks, Hickory is crowing! These were my 9/28 hatchlings. His little crow is actually pretty credible. I expected a strangled frog sort of noise, but he did pretty well. Mine just started going out in a run during the day. The love their outside time.

How's everyone else's chicks doing?

I need to take new pictures. Mine enjoyed polishing off the sour cream and turkey enchiladas that were the Thanksgiving leftovers. Some of the girls have gotten so cuddly that they are almost pests.

should NOT have looked at this thread!! i must hatch some of my EE X Australorp eggs in the spring now! i love my ee (beard/muffs so cute!) and also soccermoms comment that she has chicks living in her stock trailer reminded me i have a empty horse trailer sitting in my feild that isnt being used at all, i might have to rear some chicks in it if im short for space!

My black austrolorp cockerel has decided it's time to start crowing. At 11 weeks!! It was so funny...no cocka-doodle-doo here. He just says 'ERRRRRRRRR' ...very cute!!
