I'm not getting ready for any company, but I am getting ready to be company! I just wish I was excited for my trip. I don't think I can bear 5 days away from my chickens. I'm going to be worried sick.

Good luck with the cleaning. I do know what that's like. The clean house is always a nice reward though!

NO! Thank goodness!

My SO's girls are going to their mother's house for T-day. We're going tomorrow to a butcher shop and pick out the two biggest ribeyes we can find. Pair that with the baked potatoes and we'll be good to go.
While we're on the subject does anyone have a place I can hide come Christmas? That's when we are going to be blessed with a visit.

another break.. it is now 8:25

I did take a break for about an hour and a half to go and get all the stuff for thanksgiving dinner.

We had a turkey given to us.. it is now thawing in a brine solution.

so I dont know if food shopping and getting the turkey ready counts as a break but maybe in this situation.

I did stop for about a half an hour and took one of the pp advice and had a nice cup of blueberry tea.

I am wooped..

but I keep saying to myself the more I do today the less I have to do tomorrow.

Luckily, I'm not hosting Thanksgiving this year... There's been so much to do around here, my house looks like a bomb hit it.

Christmas on the other hand... well, I have 4 weeks to clean.
