Anyone else getting ready for some new baby hatching?

I set a batch on March 1 (afternoon), have 10 in the Turn-X incubator. I heard faint peeping yesterday, and last night saw one egg rocking slightly, but here it is day 21 and no pipping yet! I can't stand it!!

Of course, I have all kinds of running around to do today, and won't be home most of the day. Hopefully there will be something drying in the incubator when I get home.

I've had some pretty unfortunate (non)hatches. I think I got everything right this time - no supplemental humidity until two days ago, temp has been rock-steady. I will be so upset if nothing hatches! (I told hubby if that happens, I'm buying a Brinsea Octagon 20 Advance to try to get something right.)

I have been the same way! I get so excited whenever I see them rocking around but I have to remind myself to wait, and I am terrible at that. I feel like a stalker with the incubator lol I stand over it and look through the window and then leave it alone and come back 10 minutes later and do it again.

I have duck eggs that are supposed to hatch on sunday but are starting to hatch now!!! :O

I tried to go out and get a picture of my chickens 4 hens and a rooster but they are off running around the farm somewhere, they are free range. I am not sure what kind they are, all I know is that they are bannies. But these are the last ones I had hatch out from them.

I have duck eggs that are supposed to hatch on sunday but are starting to hatch now!!! :O

I had some chicken eggs that did that, they hatched 3 days early and they are doing fine. I was so worried about them!

Here we are 7 hours later, after a day of running errands, and no peeps in my 'bator.

I'm waiting, but hardly patiently. I saw two other eggs rocking by themselves, but nobody has been brave enough to show themselves yet.

ohh no! I am sure they are just taking their sweet time and of course making you have a nervous breakdown! That is what one of mine done last time, it pipped at 1 in the afternoon and finally hatched at 9:30 the next morning. It took all I had to leave the bator and go to bed and join in on the waiting game. I would say if it hasn't hatched by tomorrow morning/afternoon I would step in to help. That is what I had to do with one of my baby chicks on Sunday. It was pipped for a long time and I finally went in after it (I hate doing it) and helped it out. Best of luck!

This is my first time incubating eggs. I have a sportsman gqf incubator. Set 27 eggs from my jersey giants on the evening of march 2nd. Put them in lock down on the 20th. Checking on them this evening and over half of them were pipped, then an hour later looked in and surprised to have a chick!! So here it is on the evening of the 21st and I have a chick, seems to be doing ok, moving around some. I can hear several chirping in the shells. Is my temp slightly to high to already have one hatched?? I also have 160 coturnix quail eggs in the incubator that have been in for 7 days so far. I can't believe how stressful and assisting fowl can be.
